1. Does your website focus on your target audience?

What do you want your website to do for your business? Would you want to use it as a marketing tool, a point of sale (pos) gateway, as part of your advertising and marketing strategy or to generate leads and later convert those leads to sales? Doesn’t it just drive you crazy when you go onto a website which was not designed for you?

The first question which you must answer before even thinking of upgrading or building a new website is: “What do you want your website to do for your business?” It is very important that you have a goal which you want to use your website to achieve. As an example, an e-commerce website is designed to sell products or services to the online community.  A restaurant website is optimized to represent the atmosphere, show you how to get there and show you what is on the menu. But a business consulting website is there to give you the taste of what the consulting agency is all about and get your details for further contact.

So, what does your perfect customer look like? Is it a male or a female? Is your perfect customer old or young? Would you have to optimize your site for them to find you or would they find you regardless? What is your target market looking for? Why do you think they would visit your website? For: Information? Prices? Contact Information? Your physical location?

You must first understand your target market before you start designing something which may or may not appeal to them. Do your research. Or give us a call and we will try and help you with the questions you may have.

"When I first started my Personal Training Business, V8Training Health & Fitness, I needed to get a great website. I rang a few places and got some quotes, but when I rang InMarket Systems and spoke with Nick, I was really impressed by Nicks enthusiasm in wanting to help and give me what I needed. So, I met up with Nick over a coffee and from our first meeting I knew I didn’t need to go anywhere else.

The effort that Nick goes through to get you what you need is second to none.

InMarket Systems will be keeping my business."

"A brief thank you for getting my business website up and running beyond my expectations!

I  was a upset that my previous website never really eventuated after months of waiting with another website developer.

Then when you called me in May '08 and said you could get me up and running with a professional website within one month, I must admit I did have my doubts but true to your word you achieved it on time and within my budget.

I got more than I envisaged with my urge to introduce new products and now the insatiable urge to discover what else my business could achieve via this new marketing tool.

Your keen desire educate me about my website as a marketing tool is appreciated.

Going forward I look forward to utilising your services and I will recommend you to my circle of contacts."
